Trade-ready Steam accounts (past the 15-day hold)
Steam Guard has been active for more than 15 days, so Steam's initial trade restriction is finished. The account can trade and use the Community Market on the day you receive it.
What the 15 days unlocks
Two things, and they are the two that matter: the account can send and accept trades, and it can buy and sell on the Steam Community Market. Until Guard has been active for 15 days Steam blocks both, regardless of how old the account itself is.
What it does not unlock
This is the part people get wrong, and it is the reason this page exists rather than a line on a product grid. Clearing the initial hold does not make an account permanently unrestricted. Several other holds can still apply to a trade-ready account:
- Moving the authenticator to a new device applies a hold of its own. If you take our maFile and move Guard onto your phone, expect a wait before the account trades again.
- Removing Steam Guard entirely applies a longer restriction than moving it. If you were planning to run the account without Guard, that decision costs more than it looks.
- Cancelled or failed trades and password changes each have their own Steam-side consequences.
Every one of these, with its real duration from Steam's own support pages, is set out in every Steam trade hold and how long each lasts. It is worth ten minutes before you buy, not after.
Who this tier suits
People who want to trade now and would rather pay a dollar than wait two weeks. If your use is immediate — you have inventory to move this week — this is the tier that does not make you wait for it.
If you are stocking up for later, a fresh account is the same account earlier in the same process, for less. If a specific marketplace has told you it wants an older account than this, accounts over two months old is the tier you actually need — 15 days satisfies Steam, not necessarily them.
How we count it
The age shown on each account in your dashboard is measured from when Guard was enabled, not from when the account was registered, because that is the number Steam enforces against. Anything listed as trade-ready is past day fifteen at the time you buy it.
What arrives with it
The Steam login and password, the email address tied to the account and that inbox's own password, and the Steam Guard material — shared secret, identity secret and revocation code. Keep the revocation code: it is what lets you detach Guard yourself later.
Buying one
Stock and the current price are on the marketplace — the counter on each tier is live, and where it reads zero the tier shows the next date we expect accounts rather than a buy button. Payment is a balance top-up in USDT (TRC20, BSC, Polygon or Solana) or Litecoin.
