Fresh Steam accounts (0–14 days old)

Steam Guard is already enabled and the 15-day clock is already running — but it has not finished. This is the cheapest tier because you are buying the remainder of a wait rather than the end of it.

What you are actually buying

A fresh account is one we created and protected with Steam Guard, and which is somewhere between day zero and day fourteen of the initial Steam Guard restriction. It includes the same login, mailbox and authentication material as the older tiers.

For this restriction, Steam measures how long Guard has been enabled. An account registered three years ago and given Guard yesterday has only one day of Guard time. Account age and Guard time are separate; neither establishes every condition for trading or Market access.

What you cannot do with it yet

You cannot trade, and you cannot use the Community Market, until Guard has been active for 15 days. Steam Support cannot shorten this restriction. Other requirements can still apply after it ends, including separate Community Market eligibility rules. See the Steam restrictions.

What you can do immediately

Use the delivered credentials to sign in, inspect the original mailbox and its registration correspondence, and begin your security changes. The authentication material supports login codes and compatible confirmation workflows; it does not remove the remaining restriction. Follow the handover checklist before changing the authenticator.

Who this tier suits

People buying ahead of need. If you are building up a set of accounts for next month rather than for this afternoon, fresh is the same account as trade-ready at a lower price, and the difference is time you were going to spend anyway.

One thing to plan for

Authenticator transfer and removal are different actions, with different restrictions. A maFile download is not an import into the official Steam Mobile app. Follow the applicable transfer or recovery process and read the resulting notice; a security change can leave you waiting beyond the original end date. What arrives with it

Steam login details, the original mailbox credentials with retained registration correspondence, a downloadable maFile, shared secret, identity secret and revocation code. Compatible software uses the supplied material for Steam Guard login codes and supported trade or Market listing confirmations, which also require a signed-in account session.
