Steam accounts over two months old

Steam stops caring after 15 days. Third-party marketplaces do not — several set their own, longer minimum account age before they will let you list or withdraw.

Why anyone needs more than 15 days

Steam's rule and a marketplace's rule are separate things. Clearing Steam's 15-day hold means Steam will let the account trade. It says nothing about whether a third-party site will let you use that account on their platform.

Marketplaces set their own minimums to make disposable accounts expensive. An account that has existed for two months is a poor vehicle for someone who wants to register, take money and vanish, which is exactly why the requirement exists. CSFloat is the one people meet most often, and two months is the figure that comes up.

Check the requirement, do not trust a number you read somewhere

These thresholds change without announcement, they differ between sites, and some marketplaces apply extra conditions that have nothing to do with age — trade history, Steam level, an existing balance. We deliberately do not publish a table of them here, because a table like that is wrong within months and you would be the one finding out.

Read the requirement on the marketplace you actually intend to use, on the day you intend to use it. The reasoning behind all of this is in how old a Steam account needs to be to trade CS2 skins.

Who this tier suits

One case, and it is a specific one: a marketplace has told you your account is too new. If that has not happened to you, this tier is more account than you need — Steam itself is satisfied by a trade-ready account, and you would be paying for age you have no use for.

What "over two months" means here

At least 60 days of Steam Guard, measured the same way as every other tier: from when Guard was switched on, not from registration. Where an account is older than the minimum, it is older — we do not hold accounts back to hit a number exactly.

What arrives with it

The Steam login and password, the email address tied to the account and that inbox's own password, and the Steam Guard material — shared secret, identity secret and revocation code. As with every tier, moving the authenticator to your own device applies a short trade hold, so plan that around your first listing rather than after it.

Buying one

Stock and the current price are on the marketplace — the counter on each tier is live, and where it reads zero the tier shows the next date we expect accounts rather than a buy button. Payment is a balance top-up in USDT (TRC20, BSC, Polygon or Solana) or Litecoin.
